THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS
HAS A CHAPEL THAT NEVER CLOSES
Manhattan’s first-ever perpetual adoration chapel is here at St. Joseph’s in Greenwich Village
What is Adoration
Catholics believe that Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist.
During Eucharistic Adoration, the consecrated Host is placed on the altar, and people come simply to be with Him.
There is no program and no pressure. Some stay for a few minutes; others stay longer.
All are welcome.
Our parish is blessed to host the only chapel in Manhattan dedicated to perpetual Eucharistic Adoration. The Divine Mercy Chapel exists not just for our parish, but for the entire city — a place of prayer, rest, and encounter.
Our hope is to offer Adoration day and night, making it possible for anyone to come at any hour to pray in the presence of Jesus.
While the Chapel is open 24/7 – Currently, Exposition is offered from 8:00am–6:00pm, based on available adorers.
